This week’s Tuesday Tip is a ‘recipe’ for a dolls detangler spray. I stumbled across this on Pinterest and having tested it out for myself I have to say it works like a charm.
One of the things that really gets my OCD going is the matted hair that most of the Barbie style princess dolls in our house seem to be sporting in our house, My Little Ponies can also be included in this category and now that Princess E is 2 1/2, toys with hair are becoming a bigger feature!
- A spray bottle
- Tap water
- Fabric softener, and
- A decent dolls hair brush or a normal comb
Just mix the fabric softener and water together in the spray bottle, I used about 1 part fabric softener to 4 parts water, pop on the lid and give it a shake.
Then spray onto the dolls hair and brush or comb away the knots, working from the ends up to the route. Make sure that you keep hold of her head though – we don’t want any trips to the dolls hospital!
